Maximum flexibility and relaxation at the same time are offered by STURM’s spacious, light-flooded vacation home. At the back of the 30,000-square-meter STURM park, a private retreat for up to 6 people awaits guests.
With a view of the snack garden and the natural bathing pond, they can spend a peaceful vacation here, independently and protected from view, and enjoy the amenities of a hotel if they wish.
Open Kitchen Restaurant Otto|s
Away from familiar restaurant structures and fixed menu sequences and towards open cuisine and genuine connections between guests and the kitchen team. The Otto|s restaurant in the STURM enchants with an open concept and daily freshly prepared dishes from regional and seasonal products. The team takes guests on a culinary journey.
Snack Garden & RHÖN-SPA
30,000 square meters of pure park bliss at STURM. See, smell, pick, taste – a stroll through the STURM Nasch- und Kräutergarten is an experience for all the senses. Stroll along inviting paths between the main house and the vacation home, past the newly created garden view rooms, past the House of Silence, past tranquil seating areas, the sunbathing lawn, and the swimming pond.
A little further on, in the western part of the park, there is a colorful variety of flower beds, trees, and shrubs with delicious fruits that may be tasted when ripe and at the appropriate time of year.

What means “BIO”? Criteria for the healthy bio kitchen
Which food are “bio” is clearly defined: Key aspects of animal husbandry are the renunciation of preventive medication, free-range husbandry as well as the exclusive feeding with 100% bio-feed. Vegetables, grapes, grain and field products may not be squirted with chemistry or be treated artificially for storage.

- Eco Swimming Pond with Granderwasser
When the host family Schulze-Dieckhoff planned a swimming pool, it very soon became obvious that the decision could only be a natural swimming pond. Together with a landscape gardener the eco swimming pond was installed in the garden of the Biohotel Sturm and filled with pure, animated Granderwasser. The swimming and regeneration zone of the natural pond forms a small ecosystem in the midst of the extensive hotel facilities.
Since November 2019, STUR is officially climate neutral. Additionally to the continuing effort to reduce carbon emissions, remaining emissions are being offset through various climate change projects.
